1st Congress of the International Organization for Vulgate Studies (IOVS)

The IOVS (International Organization for Vulgate Studies)/International Vulgate Institute, the latest sister organization of IOSOT, works on scientific questions around the text and cultural environment of Jerome’s Vulgata Sacra, contributing to current approaches in exegesis and textual criticism.

We are pleased to be part of IOSOT 2022 in Zurich and to present the latest academic thinking on the topic "The Importance of the Vulgate for the textual criticism".
